It's been a busy year thus far for the band, The Debtors (Lafayette, LA), performing at SXSW, filming a Tiny Desk Concert (NPR contest submission; current), and playing various local shows in their/our hometown of Lafayette, LA, but we're still here to say; "It's only the beginning for these guys."
2023 Festival International de Louisiane
The Debtors take the stage on April 29th @ 5PM at the Lus La Craft Biergarten.
Rich and I had the pleasure of working with these guys on their NPR Tiny Desk project and aside from the final video turning out great, it was the hours spent between takes that made it so enjoyable. I quickly realized that I was in the presence of real musicians as I listened to them discuss their past songs or casually jam as they waited on Rich between takes. Honestly, it was more like an 8 hour concert than a film shoot. We know there's more footage of these guys playing some new music you'd love to hear but I'd be willing to bet they're waiting for Festival to debut those.
